The Comet Goldfish (Carassius Auratus) has a lifespan of about fourteen years if taken care of properly. The comet goldfish is almost identical to a regular goldfish except, Comet Goldfish have larger fins and tails. Freshwater is the preferred water type for this fish. A fifty gallon tank is preferably with a water filter or a pond is an ideal living condition for the comet goldfish. The comet goldfish is also more energetic than the regular goldfish.
